SCL & 2021 FISU Games story

Running from 28 July to 8 August, the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, with the slogan of "Chengdu Makes Dreams Come True", is the first international multi-sport Games being held in China after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chinese President Xi Jinping declared the 31st summer edition of the FISU World University Games open on Friday evening at Dong'an Lake Sports Park Stadium in Chengdu.

The opening ceremony started amid the countdown fireworks and the shimmering radiance of "Sun and Immortal Birds", the logo of China Cultural Heritage.

Under the flame, a total of 31 university students gathered joyfully and sang the theme song "Make Dreams Come True", cheering for their friendship to be strengthened further during the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games.

 

 SCL LED Sports Lighting System

 

SCL LED sports lighting is the designated sports lighting for the events. SCL was responsible for the sports lighting of 14 event venues, which boast top-tier infrastructure and service.

 

Seven Continents LED sports lighting provides intelligent lighting system solutions for many training, warm-up and competition venues such as Sichuan International Tennis Center, Chengbei Gymnasium, Chengdu Shooting and Archery School, Fencing hall of Sports center of Pidu District, Xipu Campus of Southwest Jiaotong University stadium, Southwest University of Finance and Economics stadium, and Sichuan Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College stadium.

 Chinese athlete claims first gold medal at the 31st FISU World University Games

The Chinese delegation has 411 athletes and will compete in all 18 sports during the Universiade. Zhang Yufei, Li Bingjie, Zhangjiaqi, Zou Jingyuan and other Olympic champions will also gradually appear in the games.

 

29th July 2023 – (Chengdu) China will win the first gold medal at the 31st FISU World University Games with his victory in the Women's Shooting 10m Air Rifle.
