Weishan Sports Center Natatorium
The Swimming Pool of Weishan Sports Center is a key part of the "One Stadium and Three Halls" (including stadium, gymnasium and news & cultural center) of the local sports center. It was designed by China Construction First Group Co., Ltd. (designer of the Water Cube) and managed by CCIEE Engineering Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. (former supervision unit of the Bird's Nest). Construction started in September 2012, the main structure was completed in March 2013, and it was officially finished in 2014.
The venue is capable of hosting national-level individual sports events and provincial comprehensive sports games. It once held the college student group swimming competition during the 23rd Shandong Provincial Games.
