Baseball is a high-speed, multi-directional movement in the air, thus right illumination levels and light directions are critical. The correct pole position and light projection angle are very important for player. To avoid glare, it is advisable to use 6 or 8 poles which should be located outside the main viewing angle of the four base areas of 20 degrees, and poles are not allowed to set in the shadow area of the figure.

To increase lighting at the bottom of the baseball field, it is more clearly see the ball's movement track and landing point.
