The 2023 China Tennis Tour Sanya Stop & Sanya Tennis Challenge (CTA500) was held at the Sanya International Tennis Center from December 2 to 3, 2023. This marked the first time the China Tennis Tour had come to Sanya, and it was also the highest-level and most competitive tennis event ever held in Hainan.



Co-hosted by the Tennis Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Sports & Youth Programs Center of China Media Group, and the Chinese Tennis Association, the event was jointly organized by the Sanya Municipal Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, and Beijing Xinyuehai Sports Development Co., Ltd. It featured five events: Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, attracting over 100 top tennis players from across the country.
