Guangzhou Huangpu International Table Tennis Training Center Nears Completion: A New Landmark for Sports-Education Integration in the Greater Bay Area

The Guangzhou Huangpu International Table Tennis Training Center project, with a total investment of approximately 254 million RMB and a gross floor area of about 29,000 square meters, has entered its final completion phase. This 15-story sports complex is a key livelihood project jointly prioritized by the Guangzhou municipal and Huangpu district governments. Upon completion, it will serve as a new benchmark for the integration of sports and education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Rather than adopting off-the-shelf solutions, the SCL (Seven Continents) technical team conducted on-site surveys and developed fully customized lighting fixtures exclusively for this project. From aesthetic design and optical light distribution to installation methods, every aspect was tailor-made. The result not only meets stringent international lighting standards but also seamlessly integrates the luminaires with the complex ceiling architecture, significantly enhancing the overall visual appeal of the venue.

Once operational, the training center will actively undertake international training and exchange programs in collaboration with the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and the Chinese Table Tennis Association (CTTA). It will also open its doors to table tennis enthusiasts across the Greater Bay Area.
