Lighting up the 15th National Games | Water polo event concludes with a splendid finish, Guangdong team crowned "six-time champion"!

On the evening of October 27, the men's water polo final of the 15th National Games was held at Guangdong Olympic Sports Center Swimming and Diving Hall. The Guangdong team defeated the Shanghai team 16:9, successfully defending their title and setting a new record for the team – becoming the "six-time champion" in the history of the men's water polo event at the National Games!

This gold medal was also the first gold medal won at Guangdong Olympic Sports Center Swimming and Diving Hall during the 15th National Games.

In celebration of the 15th National Games, the venue has been upgraded.

As the venue for the water polo and diving events of the 15th National Games, Guangdong Olympic Sports Center Swimming and Diving Hall underwent a comprehensive upgrade during its renovation, with a focus on systematic optimization, overall reorganization of functional layout and improvement of facilities.
