Kyambogo University Football Pitch is one of the venues ear-marked for use in the belated CHAN 2024 and AFCON 2027 tournaments for training purposes. CHAN 2024 will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda between 2nd to 30th August 2025 for 19 countries. This will be a precursor tournament to AFCON 2027 to be co-hosted by the same three East African countries.
