The Mandela National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Uganda. It is named after the former South African President and anti-apartheid icon, Nelson Mandela. Mandela National Stadium is mainly used for soccer matches, although other sports such as athletics are also practised. The stadium has a capacity of 45,202. The stadium is home to the Uganda national football team, known as the Uganda Cranes.

The lighting system at the Mandela National Stadium was upgraded by SCL in 2024 to meet the requirements of the upcoming 2026 World Cup Qualifiers and AFCON Matches! A total of 160 PCS LED sports lights (1500Watt) have been successfully installed here.

The lighting system, meticulously designed by technicians from Seven Continents, ensures uniform and diffused light distribution in the competition venue with exceptional color reproduction capabilities. It fulfills both the lighting requirements of the competition and offers outstanding visual comfort.
